As of August 2012, standard App Studio includes sharing via Twitter, Facebook and email. The App Studio interface along with the format this takes within apps are set out below.
Aside from the set-up below, *users must have email and Twitter configured on their device in order to access sharing* via these mechanisms. For Facebook, the *Facebook app ID must also be added within the standard build form*.
h5. Sharing set-up
Sharing metadata can be provided for each article within the App Studio interface as shown in the form below.

...

The relevant fields are as follows:
* Article title
* URL to share - *compulsory in order for Facebook and Twitter sharing to be enabled. *
* Image URL
* Comment
Note that it is the content of the above fields that is shared rather than the page itself. Depending on the setup of content ingestion into App Studio it may be possible for the fields to be auto-filled.
h5. Sharing menu
Within the app, the sharing options are available via a share button on all articles as shown below.

h5. Share by email

...
Users must have an email account configured on their device in order to access this feature.
Unlike for Facebook and Twitter, Email does not require the 'URL to share' field to be completed in order for share to be enabled. If an image url is not provided, the share email will default to provide a screenshot of the page. Note that the screenshot can be a huge file depending on the resolution capability of the device so not always ideal for sharing.
