11. App Submission

Once you have completed your build forms and have made the apps in iTunes Connect, Google Play and the Amazon Store you will need to submit the app to these app stores.

For iOS app please do the following:

You have to be on a Apple Computer to do this and before you start you will need to install Xcode. Link here

*Note: *that Apple's policy stipulates that your app's keywords cannot contain your app's name. 

To submit the app:
1. Navigate to the iTunes Connect area of the iOS Dev Center.
2. Go to the Manage Your Apps page and click on the app you want to submit, then click on View Details.
3. Click the Ready to Upload Binary button.
4. Fill out the Export compliance form.
Your app should now be in a "Waiting for upload" state.

Complete the rest of the process with the Application Loader utility in Xcode.

5. Open Xcode
6. From the App Studio email you received with your build URL in, download the IPA file to your machine.
7. Open the Application Loader to upload the compressed APP file to iTunes Connect. See below how to access the Loader.
8. Press the "deliver your app" and follow the on screen instructions.

Please note: Please have the latest version of Xcode (5.0) and the Application Loader installed.

The Manage Your Apps page of iTunes Connect should now list an updated status for your application. Apple will now review your app prior to release. This can take up to 2 weeks before it appears in the app store.

Locating the Application Loader

For Google Play

To submit the app:

1. From the App Studio email you received with your build URL in, download the APK file to your machine.
2. Open you Google Play developer account and navigate to the APK tab in the left column.
3. Select Upload your first APK to Submission and follow the on screen instructions.

Your app will appear in the app store an hour after submission. (Times do vary, it can take up to 24hrs+).

For Amazon

To submit the app:

1. From the App Studio email you received with your build URL in, download the APK file to your machine.
2. Open you Amazon App Store developer account and navigate to the Binary Files tab.
3. Click the "Upload Binary" and follow the on screen instructions.

Amazon will now review your app prior to release. This can take up to 2 weeks before it appears in the app store.
